Art Everywhere

The Black Rock Arts Foundation (BRAF) is the nonprofit organization that grew out of Burning Man's commitment to supporting public art beyond the Playa. Founded to provide grants, education, and advocacy for public art in communities year-round, BRAF extends the Burning Man ethos outward — the conviction that transformative art should not be locked behind museum walls or limited to those who can afford access.

The "Art Everywhere" campaign this sticker promotes captured a core Burning Man belief: that art belongs in public space, that it should interrupt everyday life and be impossible to ignore. The transmission tower imagery suggests art as broadcast — signals reaching outward from a central source, finding people who might never come to the Playa but whose environments could still be shaped by the same spirit.

Contributed by Steven Fritz in 2012, during the "Fertility 2.0" event year, this sticker links the theme's emphasis on creative generation to BRAF's mission of seeding public art across communities far from Black Rock City.
