Black Rock Air Force

The Black Rock Air Force brought an F-15 Fighter to Burning Man 2009 — because if there is any place on Earth where parking a decommissioned fighter jet in the desert makes perfect sense, it is Black Rock City. The camp's pyro-laser-equipped aircraft became part of the visual landscape of that year's playa, sitting near the Raygun Gothic Rocket installation.
