Burner Robot

The 2018 Burning Man theme was I, Robot — an exploration of artificial intelligence, automation, and what it means to be human in a world where the line between person and machine is getting harder to see. The Man base that year was designed around humanity's complicated feelings about algorithmic intelligence and cybernetic augmentation. The official call for sticker designs that year specifically invited robot-inspired submissions.

Burner Robot answers that call directly: a robot who burns. Or maybe a burner who is also a robot. At Burning Man, where people wear costumes that blur identity and reality, the distinction matters less than you'd think. The sticker came through the community design process and ended up in the catalog — a small metal ambassador from the machine year.
