BMIR KFAT

Rocky makes an annual BMIR sticker as a homage to legendary American radio stations — and KFAT is one of the legends. KFAT 94.5 FM broadcast from Gilroy, California between 1975 and 1983, playing what it called a high-cholesterol mix of country, blues, zydeco, rockabilly, bluegrass, novelty 78s, Hawaiian, folk, and pretty much anything else it felt like. The station's loyal listeners called themselves Fatheads. Its spirit carried forward into KPIG. Combining BMIR with KFAT is a tribute to two stations that refused to be normal.
