BRC - Greeters Camp

The Greeters are the first people you meet when you enter Black Rock City. Exuberantly costumed, wackily attired (or sometimes not attired at all), they welcome every participant with a booming Welcome home! — a tradition that started in the early days of Burning Man and has become one of its most enduring rituals. By 2003, the Greeters were organized enough to run on-playa training, help theme camp residents find their spots, and distribute maps, camera tags, and answers. The sticker is their badge. You earned it by arriving.
