Postage stamps commemorate things worth remembering: people, places, moments in history. The BRC Stamp takes that format and applies it to Black Rock City — the temporary metropolis that rises and disappears each year in the Nevada desert. 2022 was a meaningful year to make this statement: the first full-scale in-person Burning Man since COVID canceled the event in 2020 and severely limited it in 2021.
A stamp says: this place is real, this moment is worth marking. Sticking it to something says: I was there, and I want the world to know it. The BRC Stamp does both at once, in miniature.
